In quite a few articles on the 2012 resolutions of measurement practitioners, I noticed a few folks including “learning more about statistics” on their to-do lists for the New Year. 

A great resource for introducing (or reintroducing) statistics is the Khan Academy, a non-profit education resource that provides thousands of videos on a variety of subjects. The Khan Academy includes an extensive collection of videos on statistics, perfect for understanding concepts behind existing measurement techniques or for helping you create new ones.
